What Is Mail Art?

This area of the Fine Art website is home to a variety of teaching materials, many under development, for use by students and staff. We also feel it may be of use to prospective students to see some of the material here (and other interested parties).

The materials so far include:

Writings On Art - an online selection of Fine Art student thesis work developed by Katy Macleod with Paul Ramsay
Signposts - information to guide students through Critical Studies stage 1. This area also contains lecture notes.
Professional Portfolio - assistance for students (primarily Stage 1) with the preparation of their own professional portfolio
towards Sound Art - (in development) an attempt provide information and resources for this vast, often little acknowledged, area as a supplement to taught Seminars
What is Mail Art? - (in development) an overview of this protean postal practice

These and many other topics will continue to be developed.

Students on the Fine Art course also have access to a student Portal which houses more teaching resources, links, timetables etc.
